At Little Garden Farm Guinea Pig Rescue, we understand that sometimes circumstances change and caring for a guinea pig becomes difficult. Whatever the reason, we are here to offer kind, non-judgemental support and advice.

Whether you need guidance to help you keep your guinea pig, or you feel surrendering is the best option, we will talk things through with you and help find the right solution for both you and your guinea pig. If surrender is needed and we have available space, we will arrange intake as soon as possible.

As a small, independent rescue, our accommodation is limited and we cannot always take guinea pigs immediately. However, we will always do our best to offer advice, provide support, or place you on our waiting list if needed. Their welfare will always be our priority, and we are here to help every step of the way.

When contacting us, it's helpful if you can provide the following information:

• The gender of your guinea pig(s)
• Their estimated age
• The number of guinea pigs you wish to surrender
• The reasons for surrender (this helps us understand their history and needs)

When bringing your guinea pig to us, please bring along any belongings such as hideys, bowls, water bottles, and carriers, as well as any feed and hay they are currently used to, if possible. This helps make their transition into rescue as calm and familiar as possible.
